Uta Culemann – Ritke was born and raised in Germany, where she pursued an education in graphic design and fine art. She has been living in Northern and Southern California since 2006, and in recent years settled her home and professional activities in Ojai and the greater Los Angeles area.
Uta has been involved with organizing, planning and promoting art events. She has an international career as a graphic designer and painter. Uta is using abstract expression as a language defined by the concept of connection and disconnection and reflections of the moment in human interactions. Color and form creating her sensory perceptions about the fragility of love and life.
